V8s connection problems

Hi a friend has genuine Openbox V8s everything was running fine an then all the premium channels scrambled did all the normal reboots but nothing changed brought it back to my house connected it up to my system an its still the same tried his line in my zgemma and that works fine the box upgrades via network so i know its connected to the net but for the life of me i cannot find out whats wrong so asking here to see if anyone has had the same issues

maybe worth changing the way the lines in the box ie if ccam change it to mgcamd

which way have you added the connection? I'm guessing it's manually! Try adding via USB and see how that goes.

if hes entered it manually a big thing that people forget is to use CAPS wheres stated

how old is the line, could it have expired?
sorry just seen you tried it in zgemma and it worked... maybe the tuner has packed up... have you also tried updating the channel list

thanks for the quick replies I have added the line via USB and have tried CCcam and newcamd I have done a blind scan and also updated channel list via upgrade by network an all the channels apart from free via are scrambled. When I added CCcam I went into setting and it showsthe line is online so I'm guessing the box is knackered

is it activated right for internet ie wifi or Ethernet enabled?

Try a full factory reset, make sure the firmware is up to date, rescan for channels and add the line again
