virgin media super hub

can anybody give me information about V M super hub,do i have to buy one from V M or if i buy one from ebay can i set it up myself or do i have to get V M to activate it and would they activate it if i bought it privately,thanks for any information.:)

No you have to get vm to activate it. Not sure they would active it if u got it elsewhere. Plus i didnt pau for mine just paid for it to be activated. Id suggest contacting them or looking on their webite. Plus im not sure if it depends on what bb speed u have. So ur looking to upgrade ur present modem for higher speed? In my area we are currently being upgraded from 30mb to 60mb. If they are upgrading you you will need the superhub sp they should give it to u for free
