Virgin router

Hi, got a h2s box, just gone on to virgin broadband and my box won't connect to net, was with sky before, not changed anything, anybody help. Much appreciated

All hard wired and have you confirmed by running network test to see all is green.

Sometimes i also have to restart network on box menu for a network browser to work.

Some routers might have a parental setting and blocks box connection.

Yes done all above, network test get two red crosses

Box does not have an ip address,have your rebooted /powered off router for a few minutes then on and do the same with box.
Have you tried a different lan cable. to router.

Have you got DCHP turned on,?
If you have set a fixed IP it may be a different format on Virgin to sky format.

Have you checked adaptor settings in network settings to make sure it's set to lan if you've ever had box on wifi

Never had box on WiFi , not changed anything just the router changed

Change DNS to Google 8888 and 8844 in nameserver settings.
Reboot the box and check they have saved.

Run network test again
