are any of these tests with just the single incoming cable plugged into the router? - the splitter and everything else removed completely from the equation?
the test above without attenuator has done nothing for the SNR and the power levels look slightly better

post 14 is single incoming cable into the router and everything else disconnected
post 17 is single incoming cable into splitter with 1 cable into router and 1 into box WITH attenuator
post 21 is single incoming cable into splitter with 1 cable into router and 1 into box WITHOUT attenuator

based on a previous post, it also seems i have the incorrect splitter. I should have technetix esx 5 - 1218 but i have labgear 5-24000

i had a problem a couple of months ago. BT sports and a few of the film channels were scrambling all the time so i thought possibly something wrong with cable or router modem. engineer turned up (all of my gear disconected lol) he run a few tests and the problem was 5G had been turned off. so after getting it switched back on the problem was sorted.

ive got 5g on.
im just waiting on the new splitter and will post results once it has been connected.

The levels aren't good even without the splitter so doubt that will change things.
VM are going to need to adjust this for you, but they've already got it on file now that you are using hooky equipment.
remove the box and splitter and ring them back and tell them the internet is ususable and you want it either fixing or cancelling
Until they sort it out, the box won't work properly anyway

with the correct splitter

no idea. was working fine before i had the incorrect splitter and working just as good with the correct splitter.
was told that my signals were low with the incorrect splitter.
posted the above in the hope that someone would clarify whether they are ok now that i have the correct splitter.
Channels working really good with the current line provider.

I see you like to pick on people on the forum that are liked, this is out of order lamblamb is a great member of this community (y)

It may be best to stop this before people start to hate you or is it to late :ROFLMAO:

not sure what's been posted here as it looks like some posts have been deleted/moderated.
I told OP to use a decent quality splitter and he now gets decent picture, so everything good.
recently another 'aquaintance' is struggling to get a signal to his H9T so I've told him to get a HDU as it appears he's using splitter after splitter to get the VM cable from one room to another, obviously long lengths of cables are involved and he's using multiple boxes as well as the router, but i'm not 100% convinced the H9T is working as it should - has anyone had any dealings with these boxes? - i've flashed and set up other H9 boxes (via teamviewer) and not been impressed with any of them TBH but this is first H9T i've dealt with and it seems like a POS to me...he has kryptview boxes and they also don't work but that could just be due to the fact they are crap but he has VM BB and that works fine. H9T will scan in ABM and finds channels, surely this means it's connected to VM?
Network test is fine, channel 4 and 5 work ok (didn't try bbc as these are now HD) but using oscam and CCcam softcams do nothing.
Next step is take it to mate's house to see if it will clear but open to suggestions
