hi

I am trying to get vlc media player working on laptop

I have contacted my provider for network url

they have sent me some of the network url but the username & password m3u are missing

have contacted them for the rest of the info but had no reply off them do they not like you having this information

They normally let you have a username and password. However, they generally will not let you download the m3u file.
 
I use vlc player and or sometimes MyIPTV Player for windows which uses VLC backend. You can add the m3u file direct or a link to the mpegts media stream.
 
i dont understand,i just download vlc from piriform to my pc and set it as the default media player in windows 10 and it plays anything i throw at it.is this maybe something that is a UK thing?im curious.

His provider has only sent him half a m3u file, username and password are missing
