Vpn data usage

I've been asked a question by a friend which I don't know and cant find the answer for on here or the Internet surprising so thought I'd start a new thread apologies if there is on already on here.
What usage is used on a vpn for a Premier league game? My friends signed up to a vpn paying £2.00 a month but they only give him 30gb of usage a month

I believe data usage streaming a full game to be about 250mb

It's a lot more than that, I would say more like 1 to 2 GB may be more depending on quality

Yeh Dave you're prob right. that was for SD stream which I used to use in work on my phone.

Found this with a quick google
"HD-quality video uses about 0.9GB (720p), 1.5GB (1080p) and 3GB (2K) per hour. UHD quality video uses a lot of data. A 4K stream uses about 7.2GB per hour. "

Who they signed upto as I have digibit no monthly allowance same with my router no monthly usage allowance I would tell them to cancel and find a better vpn provider

They got it off fleabay I did tell them not to trust anything off there
