VU+ clone box, How can you tell if it is a clone?

Hi all
Apologies for my noob question.
I’m looking to buy a new box but I’ve come across several post about clone VU+ box?

I don’t really want to be buying a clone!
What is the purpose of it any way?
Because it’s cheaper??

Any way how could someone tell if a VU+ box is a clone or not?

If you buy a Vu+ from the ViX website sponsor you won't get a clone.
You will get 2 years warranty and excellent support.

With great difficulty, I would want to see a WoS receipt if I was buying a second hand one.

Check out google, as there will be old photos of the differences between the good & the bad ones m8
