w.10 filezilla client

Setting up a laptop now running w.10 and is getting stopped to install , does one need to stop security to allow instal.

Installed now but cannot edit files saying cannot be opened , no program has been associated on your system with this file type ??

i had installed notepad++

Any ideas.

you should right click and install as admin and with windows 10 it does ask you to associate file types same when you want to edit a file from within filezilla set notpad++ as default for txt.

Yes think i have it now how things have changed from w7 to w10.
Had to delete a spare line not working and will have to check on my readers talking to me.Thanks
