Yes,some boxes have tuners looped inside or if there is an rf out to rf in with a looped cable for second tuner

Go hard wired if you can.

That is cheap mate i had one when they first came out £200 ish
Sold it but for £120 i will get the h7s now it is supported by open vix what a fantastic box for the money ;)

p.s you would think for the money it would be looped haha

The advantage of not being looped is that you can use cable on one tuner and terrestrial feed on the other.
When the tuners are looped you can only use one or the other.

If I get a H7C is it safe to only plug in one of the wires from my satellite dish and have the other hanging loose?
