All TV is pointless
It's called a medium because it's neither rare nor well done.
Aside from the odd film or sport event I never watch anything

I am in simliar boat mate when it comes to shows and films I cant stick to it and my mind wanders to much that give up with that. There is only handful of them I may watch. Sports are different for me I have the attention span to stick to it and dont get to distracted by it.

But get your point with such entertainment on TV. As it just feels repetiitive and regurgitated.

It's all been done before.
All those crappy talent shows where Simon cowell makes ten million quid off everyone are no different from Opportunity knocks or New Faces.
Although I don't think Hughie Green made more than ten bob a show.
Sport is always novel because no one knows what's going to happen next, but 99 shows or movies from a hundred, I've worked out the end within four minutes of the start.
Live news is mostly what I watch now but it gets on my tits when they keep going over the same story for days on end

If its something unique and got rave reviews I may check that show or film out. But again thats far and few between for me. Years ago could go through alot of shows and films constantly but not anymore.

Agreed sport is unique as anything can really happen. Its not as obvious.

News I do watch from time to time but I find that tiresome now as well.

Game of Thrones repeat.

What a legendary show that could have been.

Really enjoyed that show until last season and way it ended it really peeved me off and actually made me dislike the show in the end.

Watched the first episode of mare of easttown and might give it a go, supposedly a decent show.

Seen that coutroom drama Your Honor, the actor playing the judge was top class, the story was typical american naff.

Watched it Sunday,
Stephen Graham, very underrated actor.
I think that may be because regardless of what role he plays his persona is very similar.

But yeah hes a great actor just needs another dimension occasionally.
