You have really got a mixed bag there.

Lets try an point you in the right direction,
Ok, have you got a cable feed from VM ?
If yes then two boxes to choose from Kryptview A780 (standard definition box)or A850 (HD box)

There is also a Starview box that does cable,
you could go into that section and ask somebody if they are any good lollolROFL

Satellite is the other option you will need a sat dish instead of a cable feed.

budget(HD)boxes start around £60 generally Openbox or F3

better boxes about £150, Blade, DM800.

Don't really know about technomates but they have a fairly big section
so you should get all the info you need.

All boxes will need broadband feed to work.

Have a look in each section see what people say
about them.

Choose one and post in that section if you get stuck setting it up
