Which plugin do I need for et8500

I have iptv running on my amazon fire tv box running perfect player. I have a et8500 and would like to combine it all onto one box. I was given a URL that contains my username/password not a m3u list.

Which plugin for enigma2 works like perfect player

The URL is most likely to be the m3u list... Put the link into a browser and see if it downloads the m3u file.

In terms of an E2 plugin, find out if your provider uses Xtream Editor or has scripts available for automated updates.

Thanks I did not want alter the setup there end. As I can enter the URL into cloud stream on my iPhone and watch stuff whilst I'm out.

Asking for a script they might change it, I do spend a bit of time in hospital so find it handy. I just hoped there was a plugin like perfect player. I have looked and I did enter the URL in the m3u section on my iPhone

It will only change on the device you put it on (Enigma 2). In terms of E2 as well, you don't need a plugin to add an m3u to the device. There is guides available on the forum to help you with this.

That's why I did not want to change the device. At the moment I can use the URL on fire TV or on my phone/iPad. If I change the device I might loose the phone bit.

Why would you lose it... Check with your provider if they have multi room capabilities so you can watch on more than 1 device

I thought changing device might change how they send it to me. I.e from a URL to a different format which would then mean i could not load it on my phone. I know some providers don't like multi room without extra cost.

No changing device should not have any changes. Multi room would be extra cost but it should be very little in comparison

Put your url in in to your desktop browser bar and it will create an m3u file for you,Makes no difference if its in url format or an m3u file format as long as its an m3u url line,Servers only pick it as as a connection,Couple of ways to add t to your box then,Your can use the m3u converter plugin or use esettings+
