wifi issue?

Hi,

Im running iptv through Jedi on Zgemma H5TC via wifi. Recently, fhd & hd channels are constantly glitching or out of sync. Most sd channels seem fine. is this due to my wifi connection?

my wifi readings on the box are - 21.7mb/s bitrate, -67 dbm signal strength & link quality is 43/70

better hard wiring boxes to routers for streaming imo.

I agree, using ethernet connection between router and box is best for iptv, if not practical then get homeplugs. I used wifi I while ago to watch recordings stored on box downstairs on the box upstairs and it was not a great experience.

i have seen it where it only happens on jedi sometimes. when i tried it on another device it was fine.

is it ok on other apps?

There is a PC utility program called vistumbler which will identify which channels all of your neighbours WIFI systems are running on. By changing your routers settings to a different frequency you will avoid all of their clutter.

Yeah used that and on least congested channel. Going to get a wifi extender, but short term the the sd channels and most hd channels are working ok

Got my WiFi repeater and it works brilliantly! Full link quality and signal strength under 30dbm. Best £8 I've spent in a long time. All channels streaming very well!
