Will exFAT work for recording?

I have a HDD which i want to use for recording, and the instructions for my H.2S box say format in FAT32, but I have a PC which only gives exFAT as an option.

will that work?

thanks

I'm pretty sure u prob could download a software that will format to fat32 thou...

You dont need to do that!
You only need fat32 for flashing.
Quick format the drive on a pc.
Ntfs is fine
Box off
Drive into back of box.
Box on
Menu
Setup
System
Storage devices
Initialisation
Initialise ur drive
Reboot and mount and paths will be set

have done all sucmnsee steps for my new h2 s but not quite sure what he means by mount and paths will be set? can anyone help me out?. cheers mick also im using a 64gb sandisk ultra usb stick

When u initialise the drive and reboot using my image the drive mounts as hdd. And paths for recording/epg and everything else are set automatically on reboot.
U dont have to mount or set paths.

Try and find mount.
