Win10 usb stick says empty, but I can’t copy file to it.

I’ve got a 32Gb stick plugged into my HP laptop. I’ve formatted it and it shows empty in file explore app.
I’ve got a 5.6Gb .ts file ftp’d off my H7C on my C drive. Tried to copy it to stick, it said “not enough space”.
Can anyone suggest further tests beyond this:
I plugged in the stick after the first command

how did u format it as a fat32 or ntfs as fat32 only supports 2GB Files

Thinking usb on box is a different format ext4 and pc is fat32.
You should be able to view files on pc if needing to play a movie.

If you do a format on the mounted usb ext4 does it change it to fat 32?
