When I right click on any file or folder or right click on desktop I get an error message that Windows Explorer has stopped working and is searching for a solution, which it never finds. Then I get a window that Explorer is restarting. Ive checked the mouse settings and tried a system file check what was some advice from another site but still didn't fix the problem any help will be appreciated

Ive had similar problems last few days. On here there is a link to a prog who crashed. Install that and it will show you what and why - sorry using my phone but use the seach button to look for it think it might be under freebies or something

Try doing a system restore and see if that fixes the problem.
Also run a scan disk, sounds like it might be a corrupted file.
Let us know how you make out.

Last time that happened to me was because i tried to open a mkv file with windows, without the proper codecs installed, windows constantly tries to open the file,i ended up downloading a file unlock to stop the issue continuing and got the proper codecs no problem since

exact same problem i had, if you use CCleaner will that not help you in anyway?

if the file locks up you cant even delete the Fe**er,even revo could'nt shift it with its registry cleaner,so the resolution i found was to attack the problem directly, find source of problem and cure or delete

The first mistake you are making is not telling us which version of Windows you are using ;)
