Hi
if you forget the password to login to your computer depending on the OS version is there a way to retrieve the password? Is there any software out there that can do this? I wonder what the technicians use to retrieve passwords - it's just got me curious - i know how to retrieve passwords on windows xp is by using Hirens CD (something along those lines), just wondering has anyone else forgot their password and used some sort of software or technique to get back in to windows.
i know about the password reset disk you can make but what if you dont have one? and if you do have one can you use it on someone else's computer with the same OS to reset their password?
