Wireless options for Zgemma H2S

Hi,

Hoping someone can advise me here as there are so many options.

I've tried setting up a ZGemma H2S at my in-laws house and they currently have sly broadband, a sly wireless router and a wireless sly HD box.

I odered the following as I thought it would be the right solution: TP-LINK TL-WR841N 300 Mbps Wireless N Cable Router

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001FWYGJS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

After a trying a few options to get it to work, I eventually realised that it's for cable and not satellite (clue's in the title!) and so I'm stuck with this box.

I'm going to return the router and exchange it for one that's suitable for satellite inputs. Does anyone know what the cheapest option would be? The sly wireless router is in another room to the Zgemma and so it would need to be wireless. I bought the router as I thought I'd run an ethernet cable from the router to the Zgemma (like I have at home) but happy to go down the USB route if this is an option.

Sorry for the noobish question and I'd appreciate any advice at all. Cheers ;)

If you are only trying to get the internet from one room to another just buy a set of tp link mini nano 200mbps powerline adapters, thats you sorted and hard wired. Plug one into a socket at the router and add the Ethernet from the plug to router, put the other plug in a socket where the box is and attach the Ethernet from the plug to the box and plug in, job done

Cool, thanks for the fast response. Do you reckon this would work?

If you are only looking to get internet into another room without moving the router then the homeplugs will work a treat. You already have internet so just a case of adding the plugs
