WooshBuild Wooshbuild

On new flashed atv, the softcam isn't recognised server side so it shows as unknown 91c0
if older builds are used it says mgcamd 6d67
Nothing to worry about

Yeah but I can't see what channels the box is watching like I can on all my other boxes that are running cccam 2.3.0 / 2.3.2. The new ATV Cccam feed only works on the Zgemma H9 boxes, I wish someone would provide a solution to have a c line running on all the other Zgemma boxes that are flashed with the new Open ATV Build.

What is the exact error you are getting?
CCcam lines don't work using the newer atv builds on older boxes.
Anything before a H5.3tc cannot use CCcam as it's not recognised by the softcam, only ARM boxes and even then it's hit and miss, mostly miss.
There is no error message, 'softcam setup' says the same thing, 'restarting softcam 4 - 3 - 2 - 1'
nothing
no possibility of it working with a brand new line that is less than a few minutes old or even a seasoned 6 month old line that worked ok before.
This must have been reported before?
Even changing softcams to older versions makes no difference.
Putting the same C line in oscam works but oscam doesn't work too good on older boxes for some reason which leaves an entire swathe of users without a working line/softcam/setup

Box is connecting via mgcamd and channels are clearing however on my oscam server it's saying newcamd (unknown please report) therefore it won't show me what channels the box is watching.
So why not add the details to oscam.srvid2?
They are available on

Nobody has reported issues properly.

One of the ATV developers has tested on sogno8800hd, it had high cpu usage unless boxtype is to: boxtype = sogno
oscam smod detects this automatically

On my Technomate Nano SE M2, cpu usage for oscam is 0.8 percent.

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND

4053 root 20 0 15860 5556 2272 S 0.8 1.8 0:02.78 oscam-stable

Further to my other post, I have a TM Nano OE, a 400 MHz receiver, pretty sure it is single core, I will try on that sometime later in the week.

Ive alread done this and shows channels ok with my other connections that are using ccccam. I beleive the new version of Mgcamd with new softcam download feed isn't on the latest version of Oscam which is causing the error.

You are mixing terms up. Forget the "feeds" at the moment and also forget the softcam control methods.

Which of the following statements are you wanting to express. (please ignore capitalisation errors)

1. mgcamd emulator using newcamd protocol does not show channel being viewed
2. mgcamd emulator using cccam protocol does not show channel being viewed

3. cccam emulator using newcamd protocol does not show channel being viewed
4. cccam emulator using cccam protocol does not show channel being viewed

5. oscam emulator (not emu edition) using newcamd protocol does not show channel being viewed
6. oscam emulator (not emu edition) using cccam protocol does not show channel being viewed

7. oscam emulator (emu edition) using newcamd protocol does not show channel being viewed
8. oscam emulator (emu edition) using cccam protocol does not show channel being viewed

Channels viewed are now working. The srvcid2 that I dowloaded for Sly wasn't been read correctly so I just made my own.

Thats the old srvid format I have srvid2 on my oscam

On a Zgemma LC, CPU usage for Oscam is 0.6 percent. It is connected to a server using CCcam protocol

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
2460 root 19 -1 14704 5044 2000 S 0.6 4.2 0:00.55 oscam-stable

I have not blinged it with various skins and plugins. It is using out of the box skin. Not had a freeze in 10 minutes of viewing.

I installed/issued the following:
Code:
root@zgemmaslc:~# wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash
opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-softcams-oscam-stable

i'll give it a try on the next h1 or h2 box i encounter but still not sure why CCcam doesn't work
if the end user has a C line I'd have thought using CCcam would have been preferable to oscam.
Was/is the C line in the method above a Sat or Cable line?

The CCcam 2.32 they have on the server is patched for 19.2. It is unusable for me.

The server connnection ("line") works for cable and sat. The CAID line is commented out to allow this

This is what i was getting at earlier.
Cable C lines and Sat C lines using 28.2 in uk can no longer use CCcam softcam on older boxes.
Oscam is the way forward in these cases if their providers allow it.
I have not had any joy with either cable or sat C lines on older boxes trying to use CCcam since the file location changed to etc.
flashing back to atv 6.1 and putting same line in usr/keys and using 2.3.0 will work but brings up other problems with ABM

Surely the new cams secret feed needs to be updated to include the standard cccam 2.3.0 then this would resolve the issue everyone seems to be having with their C lines not working?
