Xbmc streaming to TV help please

Hi

i just found out my friends got Xbmc with 5ky HD channels working on his Samsung tablet and needs some help in being able to stream it to his TV.

would he need a chrome cast dongle and allcast app to be able to do this?

You could get a much cheaper Amazon Fire TV stick from Amazon for £25 and just side load XBMC/Kodi from your PC or phone on to it. The Fire stick connects to the tv using HDMI. Only any good if you have a good wifi signal though.

If he has a Samsung smart TV he can screen mirror it that's all that I do
