XCPITPV has no VPN option / button

Hello everyone!

I want to configure OpenVPN directly in XCIPTV. I downloaded the app from from a trusted APK website and also from the PlayStore, but I do not have the VPN option / button you can see in the screenshot in none of the apps (both are v7).

Did I miss something?

I would not prefer to let VPN app run in background.

Please let me know if there is solution or a better alternative.

I believe with v7 if xciptv, the vpn option was removed. It's only available on v6...
