Hi.

Just got my box setup.

Currently running a test N Line on Virmin.
Channels are steady when they are on. But take time to load when
switching across.

Odd freezing now and then on some channels. Sometimes 30second gap.

Free channels switch acroess fine. BBC1,2.ITV.Channel4

Would you say server problem or box configuration ?
Or is this normal ?

Thanks.

Sounds like the server or internet connection possibly.
Test your internet speed on your laptop and ping the IP address of the Zgemma.
Which softcam are you using?
More advisable to use MGCamd with an Nline

Hi.

I have a 100Mb connection Virmin so no problem in that department.
I loaded with a mg_cfg file. So i assuming that it is the MGCamd you are talking about ?

If the above two are not a problem. Then probably will be the server ?

Yep, looks like you're using MGCamd already.
Is it a test line?
If so, try a few other lines to see which is most stable for your set up.

You've obviously the internet speed ok so yeah check your ping and also download a new mg_cfg file and try

Hi. Is the New mg_cfg file compatiable with the gzemma H2H Boxes ?
Also where can i get the new version from ?

Thanks.

Yes, it's in downloads on here. Or FreeUK has posted a link before to his which is tailored towards cable more.

Hi. Sorry looking for it cannot find it. Can you send me the FreeUK posted link ?
Because I am using cable.

Thanks.

Tried but can't see it on my phone just now. Traveling to work. Just PM him. He's a clever cookie ;)

That's right but it needs a properly configured Mg_cfg file to go with it. You'll see it if you FTP to the same location as your NEWCAMD file.

Yes. Got both files there. Seems like it could be a server problem. Bit glitchy last night. Better now during the day time. More stable.

Cool. As I say FreeUK has posted another which I think helped a few but could well be your server yes. Ask for a test on here some evening when it's bad and do a quick swap and see.

I found that using N-line on a CCCam has been better for me was getting a handful of channels playing up before so swapped my n-line to CCcam and has really helped
