Zgemma H1 Crashing + Other Questions.

Hello Everyone.

Got the Zgemma H1 up and running.
Using Sucmnsee Vix 3.2.005 image.
Using Fraggle Skin.

First of all great image by Sucmnsee, seems to be quicker than previous hades.

Got a few questions.

1) Having issues with setting up 1080P on the box.
Everytime its set, screen goes fuzzy and sound gets distorted.

Iv got it set now to 1080i, but screen sometimes goes blank.
Is this a common issue with these boxes?
Or is this an issue with mine only.

2) I find there is a slight delay in zapping between some HD channels.
Is this because in Autobouquets has been set to Custom?

To switch between HD channels where available?

3) Using Fraggle 121 Skin, Channel Numbers Dont Show In The Channel Favourite Screens.
When you press down on the remote these screens pop up.
Shows channels and whats on, but No Channel Numbers?

How Do I show Them?

4) Is the Anyway In removing the Blue Logo on Top Right of Screen.
This pops up, when you change channels.

Sorry For The Numerous Questions.
Tried Searching Online, but couldn't find the right answers.

Thanks

I am on openatv so menus mught be slightly different, but I am sure you can find them.
1) setup..video...basic settings
hdmi
disabled
1080i
multi
pillarbox
letterbox

2) in auto bouquets maker. setup..service searching.. autobouquets makers... providers
freesat no
sky roi. no
sky uk. yes
sky uk: area (your area custom)
yes to the remaining

This will replace SD channels with HD channels where available.

3) press the menu button on channel select page. then settings.
show channel numbers in selection
show coulmns. 200 pixels

4) no idea what this is

Thanks for the response.

1) The 1080i has been set correctly, Im just wondering why the 1080P setting seems to fail on the box.
Does yours work using the Openatv Image correctly?

2) Again the settings are correct to the ones you posted.
Im just finding there is a second delay when changing between Hd Channels.

3) Thanks for letting me know about the Channel Numbers on menu screen.
That worked perfectly.

4) On the Vix Image, there is blue logo on the right hand side of screen,
Only pops up during channel changes.

Im not sure if there is anyway to not show this

It could be a display setting on your tv that is messing the display up. I presume you have an HD TV.
My Samsung tv is meant to be set at 1080p, but 1080i seems to work better on my zgemma.

I have a fresh install of openatv 5.1 as I don't like all the surplus stuff on the backup images. Great for noobs but bit of an overkill once you know what your doing. And the more stuff you put on your box the slower it gets.

I have a guide on here called guinea pigs needed. That will step by step you through setting up openatv (or any other image) from scratch with out all the surplus crap. Once you know roughly what you are doing, have a read and give it a go and see if it speeds your box up.

There is also a speedtest plugin in the plugins menu. Download that and check your boxes internet speed. If it's really struggling on speed this will also effect your channel zapping.
