Cable Zgemma H1 not flashing

Hi,

Received my Zgemma box today and I've downloaded the latest Vix backup from sucmnsee but for some reason my box will not flash when I'm booting it up. Tried 2 different USB sticks - 4gb and 32gb - and neither are working. The steps I am following are as follows:

1. Usb formatted to Fat32
2. Copied over the zgemma folder.
3. Box is powered off completely.
4. USB plugged into rear port
5. Box powered up.

The box will boot and then I get Open ATV screen.

Can anyone help me please? Not sure where I'm going wrong here.

Sounds like the usb needs low level formatting.

do the following:

1. Download low level formatting tool HERE
2 when opening click continue for free a lit of storeage devices will appear.
3. Select your usb drive (check in my computer to see the letter of the drive to make sure you have selected the correct one) > click continue
4. Navigate to LOW-LEVEL FORMAT tab
5. Make sure the 'Perform quick wipe' tickbox is unchecked.
6. click format this device.


The time it will take to low level format will vary depending on the usb type (USB2/ USB3).

Once it is finished you will need to format the device to fat 32 in my computer or in disk management on the computer.

Once all that is finished, copy the zgemma folder over to the root of the usb drive turn off the zgemma, usb in the back, then switch on the zgemma by the on/off button at the back.

Should say FLSH on the front of the box.

Thanks for replying. I had tried the low level format on both USB sticks followed by the full format on windows and it didn't work. In the end I quick formatted a 16gb Cruzer and it worked fine. Not sure why it didn't work on the other sticks but sorted now.
