Hi Chaps,

Has anyone got their ZGemma H1 working with a wireless usb ariel instead of a direct ethernet connection for connection to the hub. If they have does it work without freezing and is it a case of just plugging it into the USB port at the back with no setup........? I have a friend who has his box away from the wireless hub and was looking at a cheaper method of connection then getting powerline ethernet sockets.

Advice appreciated.

tried a tp link n600 dual band adapter plugged into the front of mine and then changed in network settings to wireless and it worked perfect no messing about looking for drivers either

Hi,

I have had a quick look on the menu/network settings and can't find the oprtions I need to go from ethernet to wireless. Any chance you could let me know the menu option I should be looking at to do this please..........?

Regards,

Hi mate plug in your wireless adapter first and then follow menu-setup-system-network-device setup and you should get the option to change from Ethernet to wireless. You have then got to search and select your WiFi connection and enter the password. Mine worked without any fuss but I've seen people on here saying you might need to find drivers for certain adapters.

Hi fella. Tried it and worked a treat. I had a spare D-Link wireless dongle and set it up how you said, there was no difference in picture quality compared to direct ethernet connection.....happy days. Thanks for the advice and help, much appreciated.
