Zgemma H2S box no display via HDMI

I setup a H2S box with wooshbuild, got it all working with a 500gb USB HDD & line & all working perfectly. Sent it to my sister & she is getting no display via HDMI but tried via RCA & works fine. Seen of forums its a problem with certain TV's. Her TV is a few years old & was thinking of buying a new TV anyway so went out & bought a new 49" Samsung TV but it's still the same. Any ideas?

might be worht plugging via rca then changing the video output to hdmi then switching to hdmi cable , see if that works , playstations used to be the same if used on a different tv

Tried that but it didnt work. Its set to HDMI, auto resolution disabled, 1080i, 50Mhz, 4:3 just scale & 16:9 just scale.

im having this problem

Basically when I switch from HDMI 1(official skybox) to HDMI 2(zgemma h2s) I have to turn TV off and back on to get pic or reboot zgemma to get pic...it has me totally confused.... I have used ps,4 and skybox f5 in HDMI 2 with no probs at all..

This box doesn't even get a picture via HDMI on reboot. Even got her to flash the box from scratch again with woosh build but still only working via RCA cable. Strange it's got the same fault with her old & new TV but it worked fine for me when I set it up originally using my TV. Will get her to send it back to me & see if it works again on my TV. Maybe be a warranty job.

With Samsung TVs It could be a problem with the Hdmi port you could try a factory reset on the tv If you google Hdmi problem with samsung tv you will find its quite common fault

My TV is also a Samsung & it worked fine. Her old & new is a Samsung, I should have told her to get a different brand.

They are good Tvs But have seen the problem before managed to get next doors going by wiggling the cable at back of telly Sony tv have same problem

Her new TV is a 49" 4k tv so cant see how a TV like that wouldn't work with the box. Shame as they cancelled sly due to them wanting £90/month off her & she said no chance.

Try this 1. Disconnect all HDMI sources from the inputs.2. Unplug the power from TV/LCD for 10 minutes.
3. Plug the TV/LCD back in.
4. Connect the HDMI cable one device at a time.
5. Turn on the device (box).
6. Repeat steps 4-5 for each HDMI port.

Did have a problem once that turned out to be hdmi cable a new cheaper brand got the picture back

Make sure it is firmly plugged in.

I no had that in a zGemma. Thought it was a duff and needed to go back. Turned out it was just being too gentle with the cable.

Really didnt expect it, and I know it sounds a bit patronising but just double check!

That was plugging into the box by the way

Trouble is Samsung say there is no problem But if you google it there are loads of people having same problem Something is wrong?

Tries the HDMI cable that came with it & the one that was working fine with their sky box but no joy. Tried turning off HDMI -CEC on the TV can't think of anything else to suggest to them. I have just sent her a new box to try which is still sealed that hasn't been near my TV incase it was something from my TV that has stopped it working on her TV. Will find out on Thursday how it goes.

Have you tried the factory reset ? did try this on another friends even tried the troubleshooting on the tv but all that comes up with can you see this picture yes/no and if you say yes Its not TV fault , strange

Sent her a new zgemma box & it worked perfectly. Will see when I get the other one back if it will work on my own TV as it did before I send it to her.
