I have an H2S and have not updated it for about a year. My wifi dongle TP link W823N uses RTL8192CU driver. It has worked very well. I have updated the H2S and gone to plugins and downloaded the drive. It does not work .
If I reload the backup to the old version it works fine.
So the problem is the drivers listed in PUGINS will not work RTL8192cu rev2 (1.0-R5). It is a Universal driver for version 2 of the dongle. and shows as RTL8XXXcu under wifi device. I have tried the other RTL8192 drivers in plugins also.
I think I have the driver on the PC rtl8192cu_4.0.1-r0.2_h3.ipk I FTP'ed this to the TMP folder and installed it but it does not show in plugins. It does not install. If I delete all drivers in plugins and do this it still does not show.
So how do I install the IPK file to box or where should I put it to run it so it installs as a driver?
