I just tried to put line on the box is now stuck on boot cant shift it is there any hard reset for these boxes??

try turning off on the back, remove the usb stick totally and then turn back on to see if it boots up, if not then it sounds like a reflash.

Not sure why adding a line would cause this

I've just downloaded nightly download to USB formatted to fat 32 plugged in back of zgem and nothing still on red light boot wat am i doing wrong need geniun advice 4 days of this now ahhhhh....

Your receiver is stuck in boot loop.
It's needs reflashing.
Using unbranded or any usb sticks from eBay won't get you very far.


Buy a genuine Sandisk cruzer from Tescos or Argos and reflash your receiver.
Make sure you have a copy of line details before reflashing.

Maybe im downloading wrong it had wooshbuild on it before it went down surely i can use whatever open vix or ATV??

Things to check;

Correct image for your receiver

Image unzipped or unrar before placing on usb stick

You should have a zgemma only folder on usb stick

No other usb sticks/HDD drives etc plugged in whilst trying to flash.

Power off receiver, plug in usb with image on, power on if you see USB on the front display then press the standby button to flash, you should now see FLASH on the display.

If the receiver is not reading the usb you have the wrong image , a uzippped folder or a corrupted usb.

Once downloaded, click on the file it should prompt you to unzip, extract, or unrar depending on what your running on pc.
