ZGemma h9s MGCamd

Drox

TK Veteran
I've just installed mgcamd from the plugin menu on my zgemma h9s running open atv 6.4.

I'm just wondering, have I installed the right version? (As I've seen a few other threads mention that is is the wrong version etc)

Also, is there a server file like with oscam, where I can add my n line?

Thank you

your line goes in the newcamd.list file

Do you know where this should be? I can’t find it
you make a file called newcamd.list and add you line to it.

MGCAMD uses the newcamd.list and mg_cfg file - newcamd.list for server details and mg_cfg for configuration settings

newcamd.list is where you enter details for your servers, as follows

CWS = <server name> <port> <username> <password> 1234567891011121314

That’s empty - I guess that means I haven’t installed the mgcamd right?
did you actually install from plugins because softcams are not present in openatv6.4 you need to install softcams feed, unless you have also used a build like wooshbuild if so it should be there.
to install softcam feeds paste
Code:
wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash
into putty or opemwebif terminal.
once installed reboot gui. then goto plugins \ softcams\mgcamd1.38 and nistall that and reboot gui.

yeah, I've done

I reinstalled openatv on the box yesterday
used that line above in the terminal
Then installed oscam first and then mgcamd from the plugins menu
My oscam works - I was able to input that into the oscam.server file
Even on the gui in the box, it gives me the option between choosing oscam or mgcamd for my plugin

in that case Mg_cfg should be in usr\keys folder

the damn file has gone awol lol

Can I delete the plugin somehow and reinstall?

yes just goto plugins remove\softcams \mgcamd1.38 then reboot gui and reinstall it again from plugins\softcams
just done that twice, and still the same

When I am installing mgcamd from the menu, after execution in progress, the text that comes up disappears literally instantly - so I cannot see it

I wonder if there is an issue with the install?
