Zgemma h9s update.

Hello all, hope you're OK, technological virgin here, friend of mine has a zgemma h9s which needs updating, purchased a fat32 USB stick and was wondering where I go from here, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Download both the recovery_emmc and emmc zip file for your chosen image

1. Do NOT unpack these files but copy these zip files to your USB stick.
2. Place USB in the box while power off.
3. Turn on the device at the back en PRESS AND HOLD the POWER BUTTON on THE REMOTE until the recovery menu appears
4. Now flash the recovery_emmc zip first
5. Repeat procedure and flash the emmc image file to 'linux slot 1'
6. After flashing, the box will restart in the recovery menu
7. Remove the USB stick
8. Select 'linux slot 1' to start the flashed image

This will reformat the whole flash inducing any slots if you dont whish to recover the whole flash just flash the emmc version and not the recovery_emmc

Thanks for your reply mate, is it easy enough to install the files I need onto the stick, the h9s is using openatv and its for iptv.?

You might be better off putting grogsbuild on then as it has a IPTV app installed
