Zgemma with sky Q changing LNB

Firstly I know that zgemma don't work with sky Q but I went to my mates house tonight and they have replaced his dish and LNB but couldn't replace cables as they were under his floor boards....so my thinking is...if I replace the sky q lnb for a standard quad core then it should go back to normal sky+hd?

But would sky be able to know if I replace the lnb?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

no mate there would not no if you change lnb try hybrid lnb so does sky q and normal sky

I totally accept your answer so thank you....but can you explain why....sure the dish points the same way and if I put a new dish next to it with a quad lnb it would work. Sure the dish just bounces the signal onto the lnb.
