Hi,
I have a Mag 256 and have noticed on occasions that straight after turning it on it switches straight back off. Has anyone had this issue and can anything be changed in settings etc to sort this?
Any help greatly appreciated.
I heard it was hdmi switch over from device to tv. But still a inconveniencePower supply fault
My 233 does exactly that..but i have given up it works... have once again informed wos. Had to fill a ticket out yet again.I've got a mag 254. If it's left on for a while it goes off then on until u unplug it and plug it back in. I've noticed that when it goes off and on the blue light at front lights differently. It's on the latest firmware as I have checked
Have they replied to you? If/when they do can you let me know what they say. CheersMy 233 does exactly that..but i have given up it works... have once again informed wos. Had to fill a ticket out yet again.

The joys of owning a mag.. i think informir do it on purpose. To test usOn and Off Mag256 Madness, this has driven me crazy I made all the suspect setting changes (hdmi event on/off etc etc) non of them ever stopped my box from turning itself off in the middle of a programme and insult to injury it would knock the tv off with it. The set up was that I'd turn the tv on (via remote) and the box would follow, select hdmi if needed and it would run for a certain length of time (5mins/15mins or whenever) and then turn itself off and the tv with it. Now I power down both the tv and the box at the wall before hitting the sack (with hdmi selected for box), when I come to watch tv the following day I turn both on at the wall, annoyingly the box has to re-load (takes a minute) but I never have any problems with them turning off anymore - Not the best fix but least I know I don't have to get up and start f'kin about again. Hope that helps.
