Leads do look in bad shape. not mines. Only thing i couldnt get to the negative on the van i was jumping from so i just put that on to a bolt at side of engine and attacthed other negative to the door lock on van thats dead. Dont no if thats correctYes bad leads or connection and make sure your + to + is good and check also your ground connections.Presume both are diesels and needing a heavier set of leads.

So maybe get different leads and use them grounds. Central locking and lights or nothing is working so am assuming battery is completely drainedThat sounds like the hookup for jump lead when access to negative is covered.
Would need to source a charger but could get a powerpoint to van.So jump starting isnt going to be much use.Yes if nothing on battery dead ,can battery be charged in vehicle if near a power point.?
Have the van 2 years and a havent replaced it. Van itself has just turned 5 years old.if you think you have good connections your battery must be knackered. how old is the battery? they only good for 3 to 5 years.
Naw doesnt have stop startPossibly coming upto time for battery replacement ,does it have stop start?
Do you think its worth getting heavier leads and giving that a go 1stAhh ok as those batteries more expensive.
