If she ran an encrypted backup the password will be included in the backup.Hi, the Mrs messed up her iPhone passwords this morning….she said the iPhone asked her “do you want to sync your passwords” and she pressed “no” and all the saved passwords for websites etc have all gone! Is there a way she can recover or reinstall these from a previous backup?
Is there way to check if the last back up was an encrypted one?If she ran an encrypted backup the password will be included in the backup.
Would she need to erase all data and then install the last back up and then it would ask if she wants to sync the encrypted passwords?I think it will ask for the encrpted password when you try flash it back.
iCloud via iPhoneShe doing this from itunes or the cloud ?
I think she signed out of her Apple ID iCloud and then signed back into to it…that’s where she pressed “no” when asked “do you want to sync passwords” all here auto fill passwords have gone (see pic)Did she sign in to her phone with another Apple ID for icloud?
If sounds like. you’re referring to passwords missing from keychain.
