Zgemma H2s not picking up signal - do i have a sky cable or virgin? [pic attached]

Iv tried 3 different rg6 cables but still no signal. Have re-ended them also

So when you did a channel scan did it find any channels did you set in your location in the country region setup

When i done channel scan i done the autoboquests and put it in London then done channel search. 0 channels found. Manual search - 0 channels found. Auto search - 0 channels found.

As you are using 1 cable in suggest you set tuner B to not configured as your scanning of channels will not work

I played around for hours with settings and also done Tuner A with the correct settings and Tuner B to not configured. Found 0 channels. Grrrr!!!!

Everything looks set up right. Can you get signal on the official sky box as we speak? What I will say though is don't use the sky hdmi because when it's not in the official box it leaves a ghost sky image in top left hand corner

Yes, everytime i set up the Sky Box there is ALWAYS signal. But when i connect the zgemma there is no signal.

It's not set up right for 1 cable set up tuner b needs to be unconfigured otherwise he will get tuner lock

It may be a port on the lnb has gone Your best bet is first take your box to a friends and try it there ( someone who has sky) if it works there Rules box out so must be Cables / lnb /dish

Spoke to my old man, he said we have a communal dish that has 1 LNB not 4 LNB

The lnb may have 4 ports on it

I wish i could just take a look at it, from what i know now is that there is 1 not 4 but not sure about the ports

Most dishes on flats are on the roof other thing you can check is the inside of your socket on the wall to see if a connection is off

unfortunatey we dont have access to the roof as i live in a maisonette. Do you mean the socket where the sat cable is?

Take your box to a friends and test.....is your best bet but since u said other official boxes work then it could only be your box but then you said u got another zgemma box with same results.....try different backup image in the forum cant recall you did that.

Hope they havnt upgraded your dish for skyq as it wont work on zgemma.... As you said you used it sataday prob not.. Is strange do you speak to any neighbours to try in there flat.

Didn't know that Dilly. Thought it was just Openboxers.

Check that centre core has not come out or snapped and braid is clamped on back of sat connector

ill check it out and let you know. I highly doubt itd be that because of there was a fault then the sky box i plug in wouldnt work

If your skybox works my guess it will be that you have a old lnb on your dish Have seen this a couple of times they work on sky box but not zgemma if you can look at lnb the old ones are moulded to the adaptor

that might be what it is, i doubt the communal dish has been changed or upgraded. But if it is an old one how come it worked on saturday? If it supposedly is an old one it shouldnt have worked at all right?

having said that and if it is an old LNB which i cant check because i have no access to it, which/what type of box do you or anyone reading this recommend that i get? Aslong as i can use wooshbuild as its easy to use/install.

liam, how can i get my box to work? In that case? Matter of catching myself switching box on when everyone in building has there tv switched off?

But saying that you wouldn't get a signal on your sky box. Since you've had a signal before on the zgemma it can't be a box issue what happend between watching the football on Saturday and yesterday when you couldn't get a picture. Has the box been dropped at all?

tich, i have 2 zgemma boxes which both dont work, i have a sky+ hd and original sky box and they both work. I wish i could get to my communal dosh but cant. Trying to get hold of guy who manages it hopefully he can upgrade it
