Network issues

Hi, I have Gigablue UE 800 with gift working well over wan on home network. I have second box Octagon sf8 which is on same network on lan connection. I got second gift for the Octagon recently, works well but I noticed from watching on the main box (Gigablue) it froze completely, I read to disconnect the other box from the network, did so and the Gigablue worked again. This has happened 3-4 tims. Is there anything that I can do for the two boxes to work together on the same network ?

make sure they both have different lines or multiroom from provider is allowed for more than 2 tuners.
there should be no issues having 5 boxes even on home network on lan connections, not up on plugging into wan for 800.

Thanks, both lines are from 2 separate providers, so no multi room just 2 completely different providers. Didn't think it would be issue.

Make sure they both have different internet addresses or connections on the router and a different line. Sounds like they are conflicting.

Yes both have unique ip addresses etc. There's a conflict alright, the line providers can't/won't help.

are both hard wired or is there homeplugs being used with one?

Eircom in Ireland, would turning dhcp off do anything?

One is hardwired, other is using WiFi.

Hard wired being fine and the wifi being the issue, is this correct?
