how to install line on zgemma h2s

Use firezilla, drop N line which always works best into usr/keys

thank, ill give it a go,
I just thought with the whole new set up, connecting the box to a laptop was a thing of the past.

It is. I just find this a lot quicker than transferring line to USB to plug into box to then run the preinstall software to activate line. Even typed sounds tiring so yeah firezilla is pretty foolproof

Is there a way to get this line on the box without filezilla as I cannot get it to connect, been trying for last 2 days. Have disabled firewall, added it as an exception and still nowt.

Have you tried entering it manually using the remote.
its a kind of basic method, and a bit tedious, but it usually works, if all else is failing ,its worth a go.

I`m going to use that method myself when i set up my box, one thing i have been thinking about is...How do you create a space on the remote, Which button ?

Wouldn`t that just enter a number one though ?

if I remember right its the No 1 button, I thnk pressing it once does it but if not just keep pressing it until you get the space,
I cant check it just now, its the same principle as the old Nokia 3310 used when typing a text message, {in the good old days} .:phone:

Bloody Hell lol There`s a blast from the past. So how to add a number one then ? Press twice maybe, or a long press ?

Hi guys - just had a HS2 delivered today, flashed it with Wooshbuild and all fine, free channels work.

I used Dreambox control centre to copy the CCcam.cfg line I have (which is working on a VU+ Duo, but not using them at the same time obvs) into /etc but no premium channels working.

Tried again using the USB copy plugin, which recognised the file, said it was imported and working, however still no premium channels :(

I've got CAM1 using Softcam2.3.0 but even restarting/refreshing doesn't help. When I go to the servers section in the CCam menu, it doesn't show my line details (whereas it does when I use it in the VU+).

Any ideas guys? It's as if CCcam just isn't working....

Try this to see if your line is in the H2S.
Go to plug ins.>...Dream Explorer...> usr.>....keys......
You should see your line there.

Yep - it's connected to the internet, I can FTP to it as well as download channel lists.

FTP'ing locally just means its connected to your LAN and downloading channel lists comes from the satellite signal.
So AFAIK this does not prove internet connection, try the IPTV player just to be sure.

Yeah I knew that about FTP, but didn't realise the crossepg lists were from the sat signal #everydayisaschoolday

Will double check, thanks!
