Stay calm dee remember you had exactly the same issue when you removed the original stick? Link:

Re-seat the RAM & make sure it's full seated and all connections are secure.

No Signal sounds like the monitor connection?

it should have a fan on top of it and be close to your ram stick between them it should have white writing on the board its normal along the back of were the ram is on the motherboard

OK,

Download THIS It is a ZIP file so you will need to unzip it.

No installation is necessary dee, so, you just need to run the file "hwinfo.exe" (the one with the blue, black & white icon). It will get the information & hopefully tell you what type your mother board is.
