Many thanks Gray1313, I did the update an am now on 7.002. Next hurdle is to find I.P vanish and get that up and running. Do I go to W.B, on my H2S and press O.K, then D/L plugins and look in there or is it somewhere in the plugins already? This one had me baffled last night. Thanks for all the help. :)
 
Hi All,

I have followed the following guide to install a VPN on my device using the whooshbuild v7 image (slight config changes as i use windsribe VPN)

However the VPN will not connect, i check the log and i get the following error:

ERROR: Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such file or directory (errno=2)

So i used the following commands in putty after a bit of googling

mkdir /dev/net
mknod /dev/net/tun c 10 200

and then i get the following error
ERROR: Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such device (errno=19)

i have also tried 'modprobe tun' and i get an error that it cant be found in '/lib/modules/.....' (I cant remember the exact location.

Can anyone offer me any other advice in how to get this working please?

I have a H2.H box with an older image on and followed this procedure and it has install the TUN driver and thats all working fine, I am just stuck at how to fix this with the little knowledge i have.

You need to be posting this in a vpn thread where you will get more people able to help. It isn't covered by this thread.
 
How do woosh been away for a few days and a bit off track is the plugin in its final state?? If so has it been added to WB5 and 6 feeds cheers pal
 
wonder if you can help I have vpn enabled by my iptv provider and I signed up to digibit but it either never connects or it blocks all streams so after getting no where with digibit I thought I would try ipvanish but the same thing happens now before anyone says it's my router they both work fine when using a android box so I am at a loss any help would be appreciated.

Change your dns to google 8.8.8.8 while on a fta channel that should sort it
