Satellite 4k Kodi Movie links black screen

Hi. I have a 4k tv and a h7s box. Fibre broadband speed. So I dont go wasting money can I ask. Some people say you need a 2.0 HDMI cable to show the movie, others say I need a CI Card. Which is correct please? Also there is no sound. It finds the link and starts as if to say 1 hour 45 minutes remaining on the movie. Any help please guys?

Make sure you turn off any accelerated hardware in your Kodi video settings as this could be the issue.

I can't do this in 17.6 greyed out. Auto select and I see no hardware plugin decoder etc?

I had this issue on my TV using the suppliers App, and on a fire TV. Sometimes the video would start and freeze, but usually just the audio. Try the 1080p one, and it is fine
