acer aspire 5336

hi guys got an acer aspire 5336 that was knackered rebuild it now i cant put an operating system on it as its password protected on the f2 cant get in to boot system tried the usual 1234.0000. anybody any clues

I'm assuming that you are referring to the BIOS Password?

This should help you reset it

thanks gman496 just took battery out and left it for 20 minutes and it was scrubbed and found out the wireless was knackered as well
