amplifier / splitter for multiroom setup

Hi, Can anyone recommend a decent amp / splitter or a good setup guide as the snr is way down and picture pixelated on some hd channels. I have a z h1 which always shows snr as 99 then around 24 on bad channels and a mutant hd500c which shows snr of around 34 on good and below 30 on bad. I have tried scanning without splitter first but its needed for the bb.

so do u have 3 way splitter or 2 two tight the ends up also can only get better signal levels at cab or use virgin hdu splitter where dont lose any signal levels when u split

Virgin is prone to a lot of errors if you use cheap RG6 cable and do not terminate the ends correctly, A good full copper grade cable such as WF100 with both ends terminated with Snap/Seal connectors is worth a try before you purchase any type of booster.

Also consider the splitter used is it a genuine VM supplied type or a 3rd party bought one
