Another indirect TAX

I'm sure it's not that much different in other parts of the world ever since the recession took hold? but here in Ireland there are people who will either have to get into further debt to heat their homes this winter, or else go without and tough out the cold.

The largest domestic Gas company here in Ireland applied to the regulator commission for permission to impose a 7.5% increase on domestic gas. The commission said no! you can't do that but you can have an 8.5% increase :whacko:

WHY?

Because the larger the increase the larger the take for the governments coffers, yet another indirect TAX on a society already pushed to the pin of their collars attempting to juggle their budgets. :no no:

What is it going to take for people to get the balls to stand up for themselves & say enough is enough :dunno:
