Car insurance

As we are all well aware car insurance is extremely high for certain areas than others. Well, I feel that I'm probably in one of the worst areas in England altogether. I have no NCB and passed my test 2 years and 6 months ago. I've tried car insurance comparison sites, and individual sites along with those that target young drivers such as AVIVA. They have quoted me £10,000 on a Vauxhall Corsa! That too a 1.0L! I can't go any lower than that without driving a car that looks like it came straight out of the dumpster!! :whacko:

i only pay £24pcm fully comp, protected, for a ford ka. 10 years ncd though.

Dude that's astronomical!!! Something's defo not right there! Have you tried being a 2nd driver on a family members policy?? But I'm still unsure, it's never that much even for a new driver.

What about gettin a box fitted to your car to track your driving habits as this shoudl reduce the cost quite a bit.

Be alot cheaper as said above on as a second driver with holding a longer license if clean, but not sure if you still earn any ncb.
