Ch 5 on Sony Android tv

Having fun trying to find Channel 5.com streaming service My5 on the tv .
The only apps i find are the ones loaded already onto tv.
I have it on laptop but it stutters and bad picture quality is why better on tv.

You might need to enable 'Youview' in Sony TV settings. Should see an app for it to access catch-up channels.

Nothing in Google Play store .

Thought it might be like BBC I player or RTE player but seems not

I've just checked my Android TV (Not sony) and My5 is installed and also comes up when I search for it on the TV Google play store so must be TV specific issue. what version of Android? Mine is on Android 9

Yes as far as i know only Xperia models have android

edit : Android TVs have been included as part of Sony’s TV line-up since 2015, and the Google TVs were introduced in 2021.

Maybe need to sign into Google on TV to access more apps?

I am signed into Google and pissed off shouting at tv when it searches the wrong thing 😂

Unsure with restrictions as can play it on pc , unless i have to have it listed in sat tuner ?
I signed up with no issues and no idea if even my zoomtak will get it.

That's satellite, no geo restrictions

My 5 for me will not let me use a VPN it tells me im behind one and refuses connection..
