You need to update the channel lists.

check cwaites or ajsat for the new channel list and do a channel rescan worked for me on my v5s

ive got an f5s and it hasnt worked, ive got friends with f3, v5s ect.. i need to sort them due to moaning ect...

Upgrading a channel list is the easiest job on these boxes.[Skybox etc only.]
Format a usb key to FAT32.
Download latest CWaites list from this site.
Unzip if a zip file and you will see it's a .dbs file
Load file to usb key.
Go to fta channel and insert key into box.
Go menu--tools--scroll to upgrade by usb.
Change title to read misc files [not image]
Scroll down to start. Click on.
Tick prog tps and then press yellow button on remote
When finished--exit--remove key and reboot box.
Now hopefully someone will tell you how to upgrade the Dream---I personally would just do a rescan on the single sat 28.2e.

i know how to upgrade the skybox channel lists. this hasnt worked so far. my other issue is the dreambox.

@d41974 try update your satellite.xml then full rescan your box.
after that remove missing channels from fav list and select all channels on dreambox and check one by one channels you need in all channels they show multiple names which one ok add in your favourite list (botequs)
