College Fees

Anyone in Ireland watching the RTE news last night?

They were doing a slot on the proposed increase of college fees from €1,500 to €3,000 per term.

The cameras were in the auditorium where lectures were taking place and yes, all of the students were sporting a state of the art laptop that Mummy & Daddy bought for them to aid their route to professionalism.

The camera zoomed in on one such laptop only to reveal that the student was busy playing Solitaire :whistling:

The poor students are under soooo much pressure these days lol

excellent find again GMan, poor dears, have had lots of trouble from these spoilt rich kids in UCD for many years, just don't know how to behave in the real world. overheard one girl "If daddy finds out that i am out tonight, he will take away my visa card" beggars belief.
on the other hand, a friend of mine couldn't send his young lad to college this year as they couldn't afford it.
