cooltv guide

can anyone help me out ? I have jeneseverest open pli on my ibox 2. it is telling me I need to upgrade the cooltv guide.
I haven't a clue how to do this. Can anyone advise ?

never used cool tv guide for years however, can you not just update it from your box
