Dreambox 500C

Hi,

Pretty sure i know the answer but i think my Dm500C is about as much use as a door stop since Virmin went N3.

Can anybody give me a clue or sorts if this has any practical uses these days or should i flog it and buy something else?

I am pretty sure that is a old cable box.

Have a look in the satellite section F3 or F5
would be good lace to start.

If you budget can stretch to a blade box, then go for it.

A Dm500C can be used as a sat server as well as other things i dont think your be lucky to find a cable server for it but your get something for it if u put it on the bay etc.

non removable tuner so i doubt it could be used on sat,cable servers on cable are very rare but do exist,and this box is enigma1 i think.

It can be used as a sat server as u dont need the tuner to do it and no u can not watch sat tv with it.
