DVB-C Tuner

Hi All,

I have a TV with a built in DVB-C tuner - I have scanned and picked up all VM channels. None of them work - is this to be expected? Obviously I do no expect and encrypted channels to work, but I would of thought BBC etc would work....

even a basic kv 780 will give you 1-5 working ones,wrong provider or net id maybe?

I am pretty sure the NET ID is correct as all the channels are found. However, when you tune to a channel, a message appears - "Service Not Available".....this seems to be the case for all channels

but if channel is on other tp,what about providers are you on the wrong one?

On the TV there is no option to choose a provider - I am using a Samsung TV and just scanning via the built in cable tuner.

If I had the NetID wrong would it still find channels? Also, does anyone know which channels VM broadcast without encryption?

BBC1 BBC2 ITV AND C4, and a few others but only on sd.
